Re: Easy Contact Backup Software (Freeware)

pim backup works pretty good to, and it grabs your texts + call history too.

Re: Easy Contact Backup Software (Freeware)

thanks, I will try this.. pim never tasted right to me.
also waiting for dashwire to fix the battery drain for always on sync, but I use it manually.
I still prefer having a local copy though too.

Edit: this should be in the software area.

Re: Easy Contact Backup Software (Freeware)

I thought something looked familiar....
I went over to the PIM back up thread over @ xda to help someone in a different thread, and realized this "PPCBckpContacts" is an early version of PIM.
lol...

anyway, it's nice to have an old goody, cuz I only really want a "local" copy of what this version does, and is faster, but then again i'm reminded of mortscript, and HEY, can command switches (arguments) be used with pimbackup?? I prefer to make a backup when I make a change I want. what good are a bunch of auto-backups if you accidently deleted something you need, but not offen... maybe I should start archiving v-card's.. (or whatever they are, as I don't use outlook anymore.)
