And doesn't it seem ironic that you think you have that same sense of entitlement? Please go crawl under a rock. Last edited by ImCoKeMaN; 08-12-2008 at 08:44 AM. |

Re: how to get a new mogul
I had my Mogul replaced by Asurion and was told the Mogul was back ordered. I asked about getting a different type of phone and they said they can do that but I would have to be stuck with that phone meaning I can't call back and exchange it when Mogul comes in. That's probably BS but the answer to your question is YES but only if they don't current have any Mogul in stock.

just call *2 as ask for a representitive.. Tell em your touch screen is unresponsive or it crashes or locks up, you can make up anything you want really.. they will send you a new phone in the mail and ask that you return yours in the included envolope.. They will charge you the $50 deductable but ive done it about every 6mos as thats as often as the insurace covers.. (last time they even upgraded my 6700 to a 6800 for free...cept for the $50 deductable)... Hoping to try to get a free upgrade to the Touch Pro next time... lets hope it works..

Re: how to get a new mogul
I would not go to a store. They are a separate entity and have nothing to do with the insurance. You might get it replaced, but with a refurb phone. Call Assurion and file a claim for damaged phone. When I did this last time they were going to send out a refurb phone. I insisted that I get a New phone since I have had issues with refurb phones in the past. This was true, but they are only obligated to send a new phone if a refurb is not available. If you stick to your guns, you'll get a new one. The old phone needs to be flashed back to a sprint ROM since it has to be returned. If you dont return it they will bill your account $200 equipment fee. Good luck,........I work for Sprint customer care and have been thru this a 1000 times. This is your best route.
