Fresh Out Of the Box!!

Just got the PPC 6800 Mogul (aka Titan) and I'm very excited.

I use to have a Moto Q ..... don't even get me started....

I learned to address the known issues right away before asking more out of the phone. I would like to know what you experienced "Mogul-ites" would suggest to a newb to this phone. (Not new to phone moding, it was necessary with the Q LOL)

I know the small memory is the main issue so I want tyo lighten the load. Please advise the best ROM to start with.

I know what you mean man....I went from a touch to a mogul and don't regret it. I wasn't loading up the touch with a ton of programs so I don't really see a difference in performance between the two. I have the latest offical rom, HTC customizer, and hotmail, and exchange going. It works like a champ. I must say it feels great to respond to emails without taking 2-3 mins to type them....error free!!!

Well, there are a few different ROMS that boast about their extra speed.

Among the ones I'm familiar with would be No2Chem's, DCD's, and the Titan Kitchens built with PPCKitchen, particularly the latest 20270 build.

At present I'm running the latter, the 20270 build and I'm getting 23 MB of RAM free after a soft reset.

I love how smooth this build is. It seems to fly comparitve to the other ROMS I've loaded up, but so have the No2Chem ROMS I've loaded.

As you may know from your Q, it's alot of trial and error to find the ROM that suits you best.

Just flash a few and tinker with them for a while and see what you like.

Congrats on the new phone and welcome to the forums. Im a big fan of all the No2Chem roms. Around 22 MB most of the time and its QUICK!!! Do some research and just mess around. Or try to cook up your own custom rom.
