Re: well CRAAAP! water logged phone

I intentionally waterlogged a mogul [dont ask] in about 3' of water for a good 15-20 min. took it out and let it dry in the warm cali summer sun for a good 5-6 hours. ended up workin fine save for a few white freckles on the screen.

haha. well done. drinkin next to a pool while fightin with the g/f can really piss a guy off... so off it went, into the pool. took me about 15-20 min to realize that probably wasn't the smartest move. called asurion the next day anyway.

Re: well CRAAAP! water logged phone

There isn't anything wrong with using a blow dryer as long as you let it dry completely and that the battery is out. This happened to my Treo a while back and 30 min under the blow dryer and I was back in business. It did have probably 2 water spots on the screen but it was completely gone the next day. I could've let it sit under the blow dryer longer but I was getting impatient.
