Need some help

I am a noob and I have been reading many threads and I am so confused! I am proud of myself because I downloaded my first theme. I am still lost on how to change the actual home screen though. How do I go about getting the cool clock, weather, different phone and all the other cool stuff? Where do I start?

Also for the Clock itself do a search on google for Dr. Puttingham's clock That's the Samsung Large Clock on the today screen ur looking for
