The easiest way that I have found to do it was to set up an email account on your phone and then download a message. When in the message click on menu and then View then Text size then smaller.
This will change the font size in all email accounts including Text messages

The problem with that is that it changes the font size through the entire phone. The way that I described only effects the email accounts.

Oops. When I read "default text size" I mistakenly assumed throughout the phone. My fault.

Re: Sprint ROM 3.56.651 Threaded Messaging

Has any one else had the problem with when you get a new text and hit reply it only gives you a small viewing space at the bottom and if you type more than what will fit in that space, well you just can't view it. Or at least I can't even if I try to highlight everything I had written.

I have this issue every once in a while but tapping the sip icon button to minimize and then bring the keypad back up it fixes it.

Re: Sprint ROM 3.56.651 Threaded Messaging

I prefer the Palm SMS Threader compared to the new ROM's default sms threader. It's sloppy, laggy and just not as user-friendly or aesthetically pleasing like the Palm one. Oh, and when you install the Palm one it changes your left softkey to SMS (by default) and takes over the default SMS program automatically. How sweet is that? lol

Re: Sprint ROM 3.56.651 Threaded Messaging

Guys, you gotta be careful flashing other carrier's radios and firmware. If you have Alltel you already have a GPS/Rev. A radio. I did a Sprint ROM 1 time and it messed up my roaming and the network techs at Alltel had to wait a week to fix it thanks to Sprint.

Someone like no2chem has already done an excellent job making a nice clean WM 6.1 ROM and it has a setup screen for your specific carrier. Or feel bold and cook your own.
