Wm 6.1

So I've been reading that Windows Mobile 6.1 comes with the new ROM update 3.56. Well I have the current ROM loaded (3.35.651.2) and when I check my Windows version it says that I only have Windows Mobile 6. Is the official Windows Mobile 6.1 out for the Mogul?

A 6.1 Rom was leaked last month but there was speculation if it was a true offical ROM.

Yesterday, HTC had a short lived link to the exact same ROM but dated 7/21- but that page has since disappeared.

explains it all and has a links to the HTC Rom that someone saved but once again, it seems to be the same ROM leaked last month. Who knows what will happen on Monday.

3.35 is still 6.0, but there was a 3.56 ROM that has the WM6.1 update leaked a month ago. This 3.56 is assumed to be the one that HTC is going to be released in the next couple of weeks.

Not sure if this means anything but currently on the HTC website they have taken down the 'Downloads' and 'Software Downloads' sections for the 6800. Again not really sure if that means anything but it could be a sign of things to come.

Thats because tomorrow morning they are going to post the new official rom.

Updates Windows Mobile 6.0 to 6.1. Adds Threaded Text Messaging (messages appear as conversations like Instant Messaging). Adds Sprint TV. Adds new and improved Sprint Navigation Software. Office Mobile upgraded to 6.1 (allows compatibility with Office 2007 Documents). Overall, runs a bit faster and more efficiently than previous versions. If you still happen to be running an OLDER version than 3.35, this will add GPS, EVDO rev. A, and fix some bluetooth issues.

can someone tell me why is when i put a pic to one of my contacts...the pic is small as hell...how do i make the pic larger so when my contact call me it will look decent and instead of microscopic!!!????

ok well the only real reason thats keepin me from updating to 3.56 is because i've heard that skypre dooesnt work on wm 6.1 . is there ANY skype hack or buld that wors with wm 6.1? i might make a thread about this.
