Well, when I had my 6700, all those refurbished replacement phone Alltel gave me always have problem until they finally give me the new 6800 as replacement.
Depends on how much you have already spent on the insurance so far. Let say you already paid for one year. You already paid about $70-80 on top of the $95 deductible. Sums up to around $180 already. A Brand New phone from eBay or Alltel with contract just cost about $250. You are paying not much off from it.
Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
