Google Talk gadget - flash based - on mogul?

I know there are lots of IM programs out there. I've tried several so far (slick, beejive, octro, palringo, etc.) But none can natively do group chats with google talk users from what I can see. So...

Is it possible to use the google talk gadget on the mogul? http://talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/popout

I'm assuming I would need to install some sort of flash player, but I'm not naive enough to think it would be that simple.

I tried searching first, but could not find any relevant thread.

Thanks in advance.

IM+ from Shape Services does Google Talk and I think it does group the chats, like you are asking for. I keep flashing roms and don't always reinstall it but I will try to get to it later today and let you know for sure.

Or you could download a free 7 day trial and check it out for yourself. While the app does cost $39.95, I have tried many others and personally enjoy this one enough that paying for it was a no brainer for me. Also, it is a one time purchase, all further updates are free.

Palringo lets you do google chat as well. I like it because I use gmail chat all the time. This lets me stay logged in and I can take pictures on the fly and it will embed a link in the chat for the recipient to click.

Yeah, I like Palringo, but it does not support group chat for gmail unfortunately. I can live without the feature, but just thought it would cool to have on the phone.

well actually the desktop version of google talk does not support group chats. when someone is invited to a group chat, it just automatically gives them a link to the google talk gadget, which isn't usable on a mobile browser.

Yeah, its more of a Google Talk issue. Doesn't make since that you can only group chat with the browser version of GTalk, and not the client...which came first. *duh*
