I've looked all through the Mogul's manual and I find nothing except it mentions the program "Internet Sharing"

i use internet sharing all the time, there has been no extra charges for using it. its great for the laptop. i havent gone over 5gb as of yet in a month yet but still its says unlimited next to my data usage on sprint.com so i really dont think they can tell if you are using this or your normal data......... just make sure you connect using sprint pcs and not phone as modem (pam) if you are worried about the possibility of being tracked (which i really doubt) also look for the disable multi nai cab, cant remember where it is here but it is here somwhere. good luck

WMWifiRouter uses a lot of battery power, and therefore heats up the battery and the entire Mogul. I hardly ever use it.

Internet Sharing over Bluetooth works quite well. The only registry changes necessary are:

1) HKey_Local_Machine\Comm\InternetSharing, delete Extension key and its value

2) HKey_Local_Machine\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings, delete ForceCellConnection and its value

Then, when using the Internet Sharing program, be sure to always choose Sprint PCS and not Phone As Modem.

I suspect that Internet Sharing over USB uses even less power than Bluetooth, and in fact charges up the battery.

I have been using my Mogul for over ayear thru USB and getting a 2m connection on my Desktop. I live "out of bounds" for cable or DSL so this is perfect.
