Bandwidth ? and a couple more!

Hi! I'm new here, so I may need a little guidance. First, I've been looking at what others are saying they are getting for Evdo speed, and I'm not there. I max out at around 750 Kb/s. I went into my phone settings (##778#) and found Rev A disabled, so I enabled it, but it didn't make any difference in the speed. BTW I'm running the standard Sprint 3.35 ROM. I've used speedtest.net on my PC, but I can't seem to run it on my Mogul, but I've seen others here posting screenshots of it, so what am I doing wrong there? Also, what happened to Backup from WM 2003? How come I now have to buy a separate backup program? I guess that's all for now, thanks in advance.

Those speed tests are taken from their PCs using their Moguls for their internet connections via either USB, Bluetooth, or WMWifiRouter. Tethered speed is sometimes much faster than what the mogul can achieve on its own. As for backup, there are several free programs you can use.

Where did you find this setting under ##778?

Re: Bandwidth ? and a couple more!

The setting is under "Data Parameters", in case you don't have it you will need your msl code to change the setting.

Re: Bandwidth ? and a couple more!

I have a VZW phone. The only thing listed under Data parameters is Pocket Data String.
