microDS suddenly not working

i dont know what's going on with my phone now. my microSD slot stopped working, i tried soft resetting and powering it on and off but it still won't work. it's clicking on and off so it's causing the screen to turn on in my pocket.

i can't even backup my data now since the card slot's broken.

have u tried it in the pc to see if the card is working. Mem cards go bad all the time. it may be the card and not the phone. My mem card in my treo stopped working as well and i had to buy a new one (mem card that is)
