GMail sync issues

I'm not sure if anyone else has come across this, but my phone has recently stopped sending messages through p outlook for the IMAP4 version of gmail. I can receive emails, but no matter what settings I use, it will not send messages. I have searched for numerous threads on how to set up gmail with windows 6.1, and any threads for sync issues but have found nothing about this issue. I have configured it the way I am supposed to (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ht=wm6.1+gmail). I am using one of the later no2chem roms.

Is this an issue with my phone alone or has anyone else experienced this?

I know this isn't very descriptive, but so far, I can't figure out what the hell is going on.

Im on ROM 3.35.651.2 and I can send mail from gmail, but I cannot receive any... It comes back and says 0 changes when I know they are there...

Just delete the account and reload it. I had the same issuse after installing other apps after the account was set up. This worked for me.

Agreed...I have had that happen multiple times in the past for no apparent reason and the only way I could ever fix it was to delete the account and set it up again.

I have found that if you enter the outgoing server information wrong the first time and go back and fix it it will not update and you will need to delete the account and start over.... Just my experience....
