Re: Email not checking when in standby
I use Exchange and also check two other mail accounts via IMAP. I also use WeatherPanel. And yes, I am running WM 6.1 (No2Chem's 5067).
I get notifications of new emails on my two IMAP accounts and also get WeatherPanel updates when mine is in standby. So I would guess that there is a setting or another application that you have installed that is preventing the updates for you.

Re: Email not checking when in standby
This is very strange. I am using the leaked WM6.1 (beta). And I get zero notifications, and notice that WeatherPanel does show the current temp, when I turn back on.
But as soon as I turn on, the connectivity bubble pops up, and it checks email, and updates WeatherPanel. Is there a registry edit that tells the device not to connect to the internet if in standby? (maybe something for battery saving) Never had this problem with the 3.35 ROM, and I am running the exact same programs. |

I am having the same problem too with the WM6.1 (beta) there is no data connection while the phone is in standby. Never had this problem in the past with the other roms and am running the same programs.

Re: Email not checking when in standby
I havent done the 6.1 upgrade so cant comment if this solution will work for you. However, I had the same problem with my new Mogul 3.35... and it got fixed by turning on the data connection to always on. heres a reference:
http://www.sprintmogul.net/FAQ/HaizisMogulHacks.aspx Always On Internet (Vision) Connection - Change the "AlwaysOn" dword value from "0" to "1"; -- You may be asked for your Vision ID/PW.
