how to Unlock Via Sd Card

okay i was searching around and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=225968 they unlocked a ppc via sd card know does any one know how i can do it on my mogul if there is a way

I didn't read too deep into the thread, but I belive they are talking about carrier unlocking a gsm phone. None of that applies to a cdma phone as they are two completely different technologies.

What exactly are you trying to unlock your phone for? Are you attemping to switch carriers? Or are you just trying to change roms?

its says that they unlocked the boot loader and flashed a custum rom but if thats what they meant then never mind it would be nice if some one could find out how to do it it would save alot of ppl the trouble of not being abel to sync there phones
