Re: Titan as wireless network card
The way I've gotten it to work in the past is with another laptop/computer running between your phone and your router. Basically, the laptop gets its internet conn through your phone, shares it out of its ethernet port to the routers WAN port, then the router does it's normal routing functions.
If you want to do it wirelessly, I've never done this, but in theory it should work. It will depend on your router though. If you can set your router as a wireless bridge (some have this feature/option, you may have to load 3rd party firmware). Then the router will pick up the WAN via wirelessly, but I'm not sure if it means you will lose it's routing functions, which means you will still need another router to do that for you. |

Re: Titan as wireless network card
I would just use WMWifiRouter and then connect my laptop to the phone as an access point. If your laptop does not have a wifi adapter, you can either do a few hacks listed on this site (too lazy to look up the post right now) or shell out a few bucks and buy PDANet or USB Modem and those will allow you to use your phone as a USB modem. Not sure if you can use it as a bridge to another wifi router though. I would imagine you could do it with the second solution I listed. |
