Sprint and HTC push back a release date for a rom? I don't think they would ever do that...

i heard they are gonna hold back and just change the 6.1 name to 7 and release it july 2009

With the first hot fix released three days later and the first service pack a few days after that...

I would say that the source is the fact that Vista was so over due that it was still born. I think that if MS gets delayed in version 7 of Windows Mobile and Windows 7 itself they will just make the next service pack V7 of each just to get it out and say they delivered it ontime. Notice how they are not saying alot about features for fear that they will need to cut and then MS will get bad press for it
