Talking Windows Mobile 6.1 Offical Release Date 6-15-2008
Called into Customer Care and to Tech Support and two reps both said that Windows Mobile 6.1 will be released on Monday June 15, 2008. It will have everything we allways wanted and the "kitchen" sink too. We will get Sprint TV too. However a newer version other then zoom in out will not be available. I think sprint will say get the touch 2 or touch pro as they will be the latest and be out around the time the newer pocket ie will be out. But lets see. Danny boy....

There's the official press release. Verizion isn't mentioned as a carrier (I'm assuming that's what you're looking for), but who knows what the wonderful ROM-modders can do?

No offense OP, but i'm not gonna hold my breath. Sprint is like that acquaintance who only acts like your friend when they need something. They're flakey at best..

I hope this doesn't get out of hand like the 3.35 speculation did.. wow..

BTW... I have the iC902 as my 2nd phone as well. I really like it.
