Unlimited power?

anyone think this thing might work with the titan?

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?Inv...cm_cat=1357845

would be pretty cool if you could crank it a few times and have some more juice.

anyone use it?

Re: Unlimited power?

Yea it would work. Had one for my Motorola's and charged them fine. Just that if you try to charge a dead battery you will be cranking forever.

Re: Unlimited power?

but it worked?

was it decent?

Could you approximate the "crank" to "time" ratio?

Re: Unlimited power?

hey if you get one, let us know how well it works, I would think that you would have to crank for a couple hours to fully charge a battery as a battery can only take so much power in such an amount of time.

Re: Unlimited power?

seems like it would be mostly useful to get enough juice for one last phone call, or an hour of standby to get you back to your charger

Very interesting.. I have a flashlight, that uses similar technology; I just never thought one would come out, that would be so cheap. Some one say...

Re: Unlimited power?

you'd probably be better off with those AA powered chargers I see floating around and a set of LSD nimh rechargables (they don't drain very fast if you don't use them). save your arm

lol agreed... the AA charger is smaller too, i have one and 1 AA battery basically gives you a full charge on an oem Li-Ion... that thing looks kinda bulky... i'd rather spend 4 bucks on a couple batteries to have it sit in my pocket/bag and charge... when a AA battery costs 10 bucks a pop, i'll think about investing in one of those.
