Re: Check your screws!!!

I have found w/ past phones; if you use the phone in vibration mode a lot, that will always cause the screws to back out over time. Loctite is a good solution as long as you never plan to open it up.

Happy screwing (wow, never thought I'd use that phrase in a phone/PDA forum)

Re: Check your screws!!!

I took mine apart awhile back and it was missing one screw. Since i had the mini torx laying around, I was able to tighten it up. If i remember right, it's a t8 bit. You an usually pick them up at Home Depot, Lowe's, or any home improvement store. I ended up with the driver that has lots of little bits, as I take everything apart. I think it ran me like 5-10 USD. I replaced the screw with one from one of my old cell phones, luckily i had several of those laying around. In fact, if I find the box that i stashed the old phones in, I can probably send out some of the screws.

Actually, after I believe 2006, all cell phones microphones are able to be turned on and off, by the so called law enforcement agencies of the federal, and state governments. That is phones manufactured from 06, or 07 on. They can turn them on and listen to what is being said at any time, as long as there is signal to give them access to the phone. Even if the phone is powered off. The only way to stop the access, is to remove the battery. I saw this on the news a couple years ago. It's to "fight terrorism", of course. bullsh%t
