8GB HCSD on 68000 on stock ROM?

Just got my Titan 2 days ago and want to order an 8GB microSD for it but wanted to know if it'll work or not. I'll likely end up with a custom ROM at some point but I"m still in my "learning phase" and want to leave the PPC as is for a month or 2.

I've dug around here searching on 8GB HCSD and haven't found much about it. Found this: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...working-3.html

and it talks about adding a new CAB for a 6GB on the Mogul. I just wondered if I neded it too with the 6800 or if it would see it on it's own.

Thanks in advance!

HELP! --- So here's the strange thing. I downloaded the XP patch that gbenj recommends below and now my XP machine sees the card as 7.72 GB but the Titan still sees it as 3.675 GB. I formatted the card on the XP machine and that didn't help.

I loaded up 4.8 or so GB of MP3 on it just to see what the Titan would do with it. All folders show up but I can't access everything in the second folder (the one that pushes it past the 3.6 GB mark.)

FWIW- I'm running:
Windows Mobile 6 Professional
CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3)

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
