Mogul PC charging qestions/problem?

Your right. I don't want to get in a pissing contest. I was just providing him with what it sounded like he was asking for. It seems the easiest fix (IMO)especially if he is only using that computer to charge and not syncing it to that PC.

I want to just charge the darn phone and quit waking it up. Any thoughts?

Not trying to hijack the thread but I have a different issue when charging my Mogul. Whenever charging is completed on my Mogul (light is solid green) it seems like it starts running of battery power instead of external power (even though is stays at a constant 100%) because as soon I remove the phone from the charger the numbers start to drop (Using No2Chems rom which includes single digit battery %s like 99-98-97 ect.) immediately sometimes getting into the 80s in less than 10 mins. Any idea what's going on?

Not really answering the questing, but don't forget that charging though USB is a lot slower than charging with the charger. Same if you us a mini USB charger (like the charger for the razr). I think it's worth it to buy a charger made for the titan to have a fast charge.

Charging through the USB port is slower because of the restrictions the PC places on the current allowed through the USB port. Using a MOTO charger of any kind is slower because they only charge the phones at 550mA (.55 amps) of current while the HTC chargers use a full amp to charge. The mini-USB connector has nothing to do with it. You have to use the mini-USB connector because that's what is on the bottom of the phone.

I have a cable from a usb harddrive that has the extra usb plug for more power to the hdd. I plug the power on in and leave the data one unpluged, I use that at work, they dont allow it otherwise, to charge. They are usually not hard to find.
