Wont connect...

I just got my 6800, and set up the software on my PC to sync the two together. Worked just fine, had it where (i thought) it would automatically connect everytime I put it into the docking port. But I have the phone in the port, and it wont connect. I try to run activesync again, and all it says is that it is already synced to the PC. Am I missing something, or have I not looked where I should have?

WMDC has a little icon you can click in the lower left to force a manual sync. And you could go into the Control panel -> Sync Center and do it there too. When you open WMDC does it show that your device is connected? It only takes a couple seconds to look for changes. My WMDC doesn't open every time i connect, but it does sync in the background. What's you last sync date?
Try: unplug your sync cable, add a new contact and see what happens...

well, i dont see any icons on my WMDC, it only says its not connected right under a pic of the phone. ill try the Sync Center tho, thats an avenue I hadnt thought about. the last sync date was yesterday, when I first put it on this PC. Something I did just try amidst this reply was turning of the 6800 and turning it back on... It synced that way, but i dont know if Ill have the same problem later. I do have a solution tho, and I thank you for helping me. I will remember to try the Sync center if it occurs again
