Re: Titan A Tv Remote?

The RF output on the Titan is no powerful enough to use this function. If you are looking to actually get up and point your Titan within arms length, then you can get what your looking for. Kinda defeats the purpose though. Maybe the Raphael or Diamond will be better in this aspect.

That would be cool............ Touch screen interface and with the WiFi would it be possible to even control the media center? Sound possible? I am really a n00b to all this but that would rock.

Re: Titan A Tv Remote?

You might try Novii Remote. I've used it before on PPC (Dell, HP) haven't tried it on the Mogul though. IT worked really well on them, but the IR might not perform well enough on the Mogul to really work anywhere other than across a small office.

EDIT:Nevermind, not compatible. Figured that I would try if I was going to suggest and.........nope. Doesn't work the way it used to. Mogul....good for making phone calls, sometimes (but only if you are on Sprint network).

Just to clear up a couple of inaccuracies in the thread so far.

RF signal is NOT what the Mogul would use for TV remote... It is the IR port.

Also, Novii Remote is not compatible with the Mogul. There have been many threads on this so far. The company has been contacted about this but it looks like there really is not plan to release a new version for the Mogul...

The mogul uses a different implementation of the IR than previous devices (ie 6700) so many of the TV remote programs do not work with it.

IR you mean, but FYI Raphael and Diamond do not have an IR port at all....

Sorry. That is actually what I meant to say. Brain fart. I've been working in satellite tv for 5 years and many of the receivers use IR. I should start getting more sleep. LOL
