video on phone

ok i have a question not sure if anyone has posted this already but heres my question when i record a video on my phone, i would connect it to my computer and tranfer it on my desktop so i would see it but the only problem is that it wont play on my compter is there some kind of setting i have to mess with on my phone before i tranfer the video on my computer???

The video files are mp4 so it depends on what your default players are, try opening with Apple QuickTime player.

if you want to see video through windows media player you will have to convert the file from mp4 to either wmv or avi. the simplest way is going to media convert.com. choose the file select mp4 then scroll down and select eitther avi or wmv.

yea this is a super annoying thing about taking video.

download the k-lite codec pack

then you can play almost any video file in media player / media player classic.
