i installed the wmwifirouter on my htc 6800 and although it shows good on phone, and both my laptop and ipod touch are acknowledging the signal, i still can't connect to the internet. can u help? I have alltel service by the way.

Which version are you using? the earlier ones don't seem to work on w 6.1. You have to go log in and download the one specified.
If that is not your problem then you need to go check settings in the software and make sure it is set to use sprint to connect to internet.

there are old (free) versions floating around the internet if you know where to look, but they don't work nearly as well as the newest version, which is pay only (but has a 20 day free trial). the new program is only like $30 and it's worth every penny, especially since some hotels will charge you $20 a day or more just for internet access. and with wmwifirouter you can connect numerous computers to your internet broadcast, and it's generally faster than using the shared connection at the airport/hotel/wherever anyways. the new version has a lot of cool features that aren't found in the older ones.

do these reg changes work for verizon as well? My touch pro is Sprint but I've unlocked it for verizon and have unlimited data.
