I would think they would have to cancel your account and waive the fees. They are the ones not living up to the contract. I think one rep told me that anyway before, but who knows. I wonder also if they would make you roll onto Sprint in Feb if you don't cancel that is who the service is actually through. I doubt it. All they say is you don't have to switch right now.

Yeah someone who is doing that let me know if it works. I would do it myself but I just got done moving today and not really going to try and risk it quite yet lol.

Ok, i went to another Kiosk this evening and they happened to have two managers their training on the migration. They wouldn't tell me a date, but i got the drift it is real close like maybe Tuesday the 12th. I could here them talking about how they can't keep talking about dates and not follow through. I asked them the question about contracts after Feb 2009 and they said they didn't know, but emailed an executive on the migration team. So they will be contacting me.

One interesting note is that you have to take your whole plan with you, if you are under contract. So i have 4 phones with 3 under contract and 1 that isn't. They claim I have to migrate all 3 under contract or face an ETF on any that I don't. So that is why I asked, well what if I hold out to Feb what will you do with the contract past that date?

They also had a list of the free phones you get based on your current model.

Well I could of got bad info, we will see.

Yeah I will be taking all my lines no problem, Let us know what that email says......

I do not want to wait till feb to switch they better not be doing that to people especially when their FAQs say otherwise....... Plus if I want to get a different phone I want that 25% off of it no making me have to choose from a few free ones....

So, I had an online chat this morning and was told OCTOBER! The rep said as soon as I get a letter in the mail I can either move to Verizon with bundled discounts or port my number with no fees. But he said they are hoping to do it by October at the latest. ugh.

I'm moving to Sprint. The HTC Diamond should be there in September maybe the Touch Pro by October ... then I'm canceling my home phone, too. Maybe I'll move back to cable internet. Or maybe I'll not be so bitter by then...

That is new info. I haven't heard anything like that. I think the rep is clueless, yet nothing has come true that people have said yet. If you are under contract I was told you just can't cancel.

Yeah it might be incorrect. Last rep told me September, then told me December.
