stylus problem

I know there's an old thread addressing this issue but I can't seem to get a response to my question posted in it - I think it's just too old.

OK - my stylus is loose and doesn't stay in very well. I noticed that a small part recently fell out but I'm not exactly sure if it's related to the stylus holder. It's about 1/3 inch in length, maybe 1/10 of an inch in width, sort of triangular in shape and grey in color - it's rubber like, very pliable.

Does anyone recoginize this part?

What is the best fix for my stylus problem. Someone posted something about a plug in the holder I think accessible with the battery removed but I don't see anything there. In fact it seems that the stuylus holder slot is completely enclosed from all sides, even the battery side.

thanks for the help.

Re: stylus problem

I recall that thread, and by not following the suggestions in it, I'm on my back-up stylus, LOL!

Just go to that thread and follow the suggestion with the tape, that's what I did when I found that the port is enclosed on all sides. Nice and snug now.
