Connect Nintendo DS Lite to Mogul WiFi

I am sure I've seen directions on how to do this before, but I can't find it anywhere. I just got a ds lite and I would like to set my mogul as a hub and connect via wifi to the ds, then use my data plan to access the internet. If anyone knows how to do this or has a link to a thread that would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Its not free, but it is well worth getting. This will make your Mogul appear as an access point operating in ad-hoc mode. There are other options, but this has proven to be the most stable for me.

Also, one thing to note, when using the data connection and the WiFi at the same time, the phone needs to be connected to an AC charger. This will make it become very hot. If possible, always keep the phone slid open.

Re: Connect Nintendo DS Lite to Mogul WiFi

Thanks very much! Any idea about the AC needing to be plugged in? Or is that just because it eats battery?

Re: Connect Nintendo DS Lite to Mogul WiFi

Yes it will use the battery up pretty fast. Even on AC, the battery will eventually get pulled down with both radios going at the same time. One more thing to be aware of - the screen may get damaged if the phone gets too hot. The heat can cause a "burned in" area to appear in the bottom, left corner of the phone. The pixels in that area will appear to be lighter than the rest of the screen. There are various screen shots of this if you search.

Re: Connect Nintendo DS Lite to Mogul WiFi

Ok, so overall not the best idea. I need to be sitting near an outlet, and can damage the screen... I already have a small "white spot of death" in the bottom left hand corner if that's what you're referring to. Was there since I got the phone. I appreciate the responses!

Re: Connect Nintendo DS Lite to Mogul WiFi

eh, dont worry about it. if the phone doesnt look physically damaged and no water damage, bring it to sprint repair store and do an exchange for $35 + tax

my call button stopped working and i just swapped it out yesterday with no insurance or anything. didnt even flash anything back to stock either, lol.

i was actually thinking about doing this the other day too. i already use the program to get my ipod touch online since it's browser is WAY better

Anyone know if this has changed or there is a work-around?
