if I leave the internet

if I were to leave the internet on my phone all the time, what are some negatives on doing that! will my battery die quicker, will it slow down my phone! let me know cause I want to leave it on so that way I ca stay connected 24/7! thanks in advance!

If you're constantly transferring data back and forth your phone will die anywhere from 2-4 hours and it'll also turn very warm.

Technically even though you may not be transferring data all the time your internet is still connected for example, you power cycle your phone and for the first time when you attempt to load internet explorer you'll see a popup saying it's dialing in... and then after you close IE and say an hour later you want to go and connect to the internet again you're actually already connected and it doesn't need to dial in again.

My phone is very warm...

Between Resco Radio w/ Fusion Radio Chicago, and PIE w/ TCPMP + FlashBundle. With bluetooth headphones on top of it all, it's quite toasty after an 8 hour day.
