Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

Same here If not I'm sure another release of it wouldn't be TOO far around the corner.

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

Here's a thought, as crazy as it sounds...

If HTC Home Plugin 2.1 won't work on the leaked rom that you are running and the HTC Home Plugin 2.1 does work on all of the other custom 6.1 roms, then why don't you just flash to one of the custom roms that do work?

Declare Problem as UserError
Declare PissedOff as EmotionalState
Declare FlashRom as ObviousAnswer

If Problem = "Persists" and PissedOff <> "HappyAsHell" Then
FlashRom = "True"
End If

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

I've been running no2chem's 5060 ever since it came out and have had "htchome-2.1-hermes-n2a" working just fine on it. Tonight I flashed 5067, and whenever i try to install his htc home cab and go to the today setting to turn it on, my phone freezes. then when i try a soft reset, my phone freezes on the WM6.1 screen, and then it goes blank, like its sleeping, and no buttons work to bring it out, so i have to hard reset. Am I using the wrong cab or something (cause i have a mogul/titan, not hermes)?

Edit: Nevermind, i found another cab, "xplode-HTCHome.v2_1_1005722_s0-all_device", and it works fine. One question I've always had, is how to add my specific zip code and change the temperature from celcius to farenheit for the weather? I always just install HHC, make my changes, then uninstall it.

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

The 2.1 HTC Homeplugin not working with recent No2Chem ROMs is true, ROMs based off of the 3.49 leaked Sprint Rom/radio are the cause, No2Chem has moved off of the 3.49 kernel (I believe that's what he said) and back to 3.35 for future ROMs (including 5068/9/b/c) to fix compatibility issues.

Also NipTuck170 would you mind posting up that Cab for the xplode version, I'm using an older version (Helmi Home for WM5, which someone mentioned) and it's definitely not as good as 2.1 which I used to use on previous ROMs which messed up on recent ROMs (issues you described which needed a hard reset to fix).

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

Well folk... i can tell you that the brand "official" 6.1 update does not work with the 2.1 HTC home. After three or four hard resets, i can testify that there is an issue.

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

Hmm, i tried it a few times and it would freeze up for me. The first time I had the pw set on it and after the soft reset it started blinking like crazy and wouldn't stop. So i did a hard reset and tried again with no pw and then it would freeze at the today screen. Hard reset again and tried again with same result. Scared to try again as I don't want everything wiped out again.

Re: HTC Home Plugin + WM6.1

Okay, a truly dumb newbie question: where do I extract that HTC Cab from NipTuck170 on the phone to make it work?

Thanks!
