If PC and phone are already paired, delete them!
On the PC: Enter connection settings and setup ActiveSync to accept connections through the Bluetooth serial port (i.e. mine is port 3) On the phone: Open ActiveSync and say "Connect via Bluetooth". It should launch the Bluetooth connection settings. Select the Devices tab and start the pairing process. Upon confirmation of the shared key, the PC should detect the phone in BT ActiveSync mode and make the ActiveSync profile available. BE ADVISED: It also depends on what drivers you are using. The default/system Microsoft Bluetooth stack is not always the best solution. Try the WidComm or BlueSoliel drivers. I personally swear by the latter. Good hunting!
