Alltel Flashing Roam Fix

I upgraded my Rom and after that I got that Flashing Roam sign and I found the way to fix it for ALLTEL is to dial *228 then option 3 and let it reset then redail *228 and option 2 and reset. Fixed it for me

That should have beeen just your basic stuff you had to do to re-register/activate your phone.

The flashing roam is new to the rom and is called "enhanced roaming" the indicator will now flash when you are in an alltel friendly area.

Nah, some genius goofed on this one. I had the same problem. Checked the phone in EPST & found the culprit. The home SID (System ID) is changed to "1" by default after flashing to the new ROM. Dial ##778 send, input MSL code (000000), and edit. Navigate to home SID settings, and edit to reflect your primary home SID. For example, I knew mine was 1192. Upload a recent PRL from Corolada.com while you're in there if you wish (or *228 like normal people), and you're good to go.

I'm in Sprint!
Can any1 knows how to fix roam in Sprint?
I have roam icon.
And it's killing me!
Signal quality is very poor!!!
How to slove that?

No offense, but the thread has nothing to do with *228 on Sprint, it has to do with flashing the new Alltel ROM, please don't hijack it.
