You can't actually block the texting but you can block calls from a private number and other numbers by editing the block list in your phone. The calls are forwarded right to your Voicemail though so u might get a message.** to edit your BLOCK LIST::: select Menu>select Phonebook.> select Block list. > Select OK to add numbers to the block list.
