Re: HTC Mogul with Purple Band Not Grey Band as Pictured on Sprint Site
The old, non purple phones + PPC branded Moguls, had the better keyboard.
IMHO fcastro, I agree with you on how it feels. Its made of cheaper quality. I MISS THE OLD KEYBOARD DAMMIT!!! ^*Cries made in hopeless vain* . |

GPS works better on the purple ones than on the grey ones but the screen backlight is yellowish and yeah, the keyboard isn't as great on the purple.

Get a case for it, like the seido for the mogul, its pretty good, and its all black and add a better grip when holding the phone.

Re: HTC Mogul with Purple Band Not Grey Band as Pictured on Sprint Site
I like the feel of the original keyboard as well. Oh well.....still waiting on the perfect phone with a screen that rolls out to make an 8 x 10.
Anyone know about any new phones coming out? |

HTC Diamond and Raphael are both SUPPOSEDLY coming to Sprint in Q3.
Diamond being the Touch replacement, Raphael being the Mogul replacement. |

Re: HTC Mogul with Purple Band Not Grey Band as Pictured on Sprint Site
I believe it is a relevant thread due to the simple fact that any hardware differences on the outside may infer that there are also hardware differences on the inside.
GPS, Screen brightness etc. This thread is the first step in identifying which versions of the mogul are "better" than others. Even if the hardware version is the same in epst, the SN may be an identifying characteristic. I remember this with an old Sanyo i bought where half were made in Japan and half in China. Quality differences were huge and the only way to find out was the sn under the battery.
