Re: Mobile Firefox?
Everyone must be using a completely different Skyfire than I.... because I think its the WORST browser I've ever used on my PPC. *scratches head*

Re: Mobile Firefox?
Just got my beta invite early this week too. I've used Opera Mini for the last 6 months or so and have gotten used to its little idiosyncracies. Skyfire definitely makes loaded pages look better with its built-in Flash support, but I'm not too impressed past that.
As stated above, it takes some time for text to clear up after zooming in, and I've been less than impressed with the support for embedded video. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting really smooth video, but even the audio skips a good bit. I'm pretty sure that it's eating my battery alive whenever I use it, too. To sum up, I'll keep playing around with Skyfire, but if I NEED to get something quick, I'm much more likely to go with Opera Mini. |

Re: Mobile Firefox?
Im gonna have to agree with etherealremnant on this one, I got my skyfire invite a couple days ago and this browser just blows. The webpages load very quickly but it takes forever a fracking day for them to clear up once I zoom in. I uninstalled this morning and went back to opera mobile 9.5

Re: Mobile Firefox?
I have been using skyfire for a week now. Still prefer Opera.
I still think PIE is the worst browser for the Mogul. |
