What CAB are you using? The cab from this thread or the CAB from the 6.1 leaked ROM? The CAB from the leaked ROM isn't working for me. After launching the app just says Please wait while application initializes.

I would also like to know what cab your using. I am using the SprintTV-Titan.cab and I am installing it to my main memory. Almost everything works on SprintTV, just a few channels get the error where there is no subscription information.

My rom version is No2Chem 5060.

There is no cab in 3.49, only a sprintv tv icon in prog area.

If you click that it launches ie & then asks to dl the cab...that cab works. But here it is for those still having probs. Make sure to uninstall prev ver & delete the folder b4 trying this. This the *Official* ver for 6.1, all prev vers are obsolete. Anyone who has flashed to standard 3.49 will have the sprintv link in programs area; cooked roms are not reliable. Remember...it must be installed on storage card only. Because 3.49 is pre-release fw, you might see more than 1 sprintv icon after installing...click ea & remember which one works. I'm watching tv...are you?

Man, when did that start working? I went back to 6.0 because stv didn't work. After reflashin 6.1 now stv works. cool. Now to find a modern version of HTC Home that will work. That old version for 5.0 sux.

First off there is a cab in the 3.49. Its in the extended Rom and when it says will customize in 3,2,1 thats when it installs the Cab. Did you think HTC built SprintTv into the ROM? When you go to your files and click what ever you click your just updating the old cab with a new cab. For the record I still don't think this works. I know 2 people have thanked you saying it did but it don't on my phone or my wifes. I have my Ex Rom unlocked and erased so I did a clean install of the sprint tv cab to my SD card. Cab from HERE. Still nutskin. I don't get a error just blank channel screens like always.

I tapped the icon for STV in programs, which brought up PIE. And downloaded it from there. The one thing I did different this time, was to install it on the SD card, NOT the device. And boom, it works great. I had the same issues as you before......

So when you installed the new leaked rom you let the customizations run in the beginning and that installed your SprintTV. Then you went in and found the SprintTV and followed the link and downloaded a different SprintTV cab. Uninstalled the original SprintTV from your "device - Programs". Then ran the new cab you got from PIE and installed it to your SD card. right?

I installed the leaked rom. Let the Sprint customizations install. Went to programs, and clicked the Sprintv icon. Place the .cab on the storage card. Ran the .cab, and installed to card, not the device. It now works great. I was installing to the device before when I tried this. After install you will have an icon named "Sprint TV", and another one named "Sprint TV (1)." Sprint TV (1) is the actual program launcher.

Well good for you 4 guys. Can we get any more validation from people that got this to work other than the OP and the 3 thanks he got? I mean there are not even any instructions other than install on your SD card so I cant understand why it works for some and not others how much of a noob do you have to be to mess up install on SD card? Every time I install it to my SD there is NO channel folder in the cache. Maybe you have to let the customizations run because I don't. Anyone get this to work that dont run the customizations? I've seen a lot of things "work" on this site and with the OP telling me there is no cab, Sprint TV just magically appeared in the programs then you DL the cab doesn't make me think it works even more. Lol "Magically appeared" was not what they said I'm referring to post #227.

You're under the faulty assumption that there is a sprintv cab in 3.49, there isn't. First, you must let sprint customizations run or alot of things don't work, data connection for one. Second, after customizations are installed & device reboots, there is a LINK labeled sprintv in programs area that launches ie to dl the cab. Third, the current 3.49 is a pre-release rom, so while everything DOES work it's not quite polished enough to release as final. And please, don't expect this to work with any cooked rom. Now go watch some tv & enjoy.
