T-mobile and Sprint Merge?

I think this would be a terrible idea since i switched from t-mobile to sprint for better reception.

Check it out

Sprint/Nextel didn't make sense either... but that went through. Don't underestimate the foolishnessof the CEOs/CFOs to do something stupid again. lol!

We all know that Nextel purchase really brought Sprint to it's knees... It probably will go down as one of the worst blunders in cellular history in recent memory.

You will when Sprint/Nextel/T-mobile go belly up from the strain of trying to make things work. As a person who sells sprint I can tell you that the shear hassle of trying to get a phone activated was a nightmare for a while when sprint/nextel were trying to get their act together. Sprint lost so many customers because of all the hassles. Imagine adding a third technology.

Re: T-mobile and Sprint Merge?

this would be a horrible business decision unless they decided to market the networks as three different 'lines' offered from the same parent company... but still the sheer logistics of this would never work... they would pour more into rebranding sprint & nextel than they would profit...

Re: T-mobile and Sprint Merge?

well the same thing happened with alltel and western wireless, i dont think it would do anything but benefit sprint in the long run. Alltel is CDMA and western wireless was GSM, and they were a big company further west, now look at alltels position.

Sprint/Nextel/T-Mobile Cup? I don't think the rednecks could handle it!

Re: T-mobile and Sprint Merge?

God I hope not! I love CDMA and I personally think that GSM sucks (well at least in the US). Looks like I might be looking for a new carrier if they go GSM.

You're implying that Sprint/Nextel has gotten it together? lol I still have billing issues from time to time, an' this is without making any purchases or changes.

So imagine merging a 3rd billing system in addition to T-mobile's cellular systems.
