You are correct. I would try running the official rom for a bit before sending it back to sprint. It may clear up your issues. Doubt it though.

i think the button is physically broken. i havent heard of ROMs killing the call button. me and wuteng both have the same problem even though he got his titan months after i did.

I know for a fact they will replace your phone. I have pretty good relationship with a rep at the sprint store here, she let me know that when it comes to hardware issues they dont even go into your settings to see what ROM your using. They will replace it.

Any word on if anyone is working on a relocker?

do you have an insurance/service plan?
called Sprint and they said to take it to a corporate store.
called the store and they said to take it to the repair center.
called the repair center and they wanted $55 to replace it or send it to UT Starcomm
called UT Starcomm and it will take 2 weeks

my main concern is that they will find out ive been using a modified ROM and sell me i am SOL.

i just tried to get a hardware problem fixed and they definitely would not replace it with my "hacked" software as they called it. the first 2 people i talked to said i was out of luck and i completely voided my warranty and finally i got a manager who gave me his card and said that if i put the original software on it they would replace it.

they said that htc will no longer accept returns with hacked software even if it's a hardware issue.
