Re: Mogul with bad ESN
Or you could clone the esn, add insurance, and use the phone as usual. If you ever have any problems with the phone make sure to say you lost it so that you don't have to bring it in and they will give you a new phone. I have added insurance to my account after a phone wasn't new so I know you can do it, but I think they said something about waiting 90 days until I could make any claims. I saw a program somewhere for cloning, you can probably find it if you do a search. If you need a esn number to clone I think you could use any phone from the network, so if you have an old brick or flip phone ur good otherwise get one of eBay for 99 cents. I hope it helps, next time make sure to call your network to see if it's clear.

Re: Mogul with bad ESN
That didn't make sense. If you have a problem on your clone (which would be the Mogul in this thread's case) and you make an insurance claim, they're going to send u whatever phone you have active on your account, not another Mogul to clone. Unless of course your active phone on your account is a Mogul.

Re: Mogul with bad ESN
also make sure you are aware that changing the esn is illegal. im not here to pass judgement on your reasons and changing the esn is possible but make sure you know what you are facing. if the phone develops problems and you take it to get serviced you risk getting caught. so if you plan to take that route. do so only to cloned a dead phone with another phone you own. make sure both phones are never on at the same time too.
good luck. |
