Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
I don't think anyone is dumb enough to toy with our emotions like that... we are too strong in numbers

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
Just remember how long it took for the 6800 to come out here state side. The cunucks had it in April/May a year ago. I had to goto Toronto to play with it before it came here. So as far as a release date, I wouldn't hold my breath on it being out this year.

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
Looking good, can't wait.. Not sure if I will be an early adopter, because I still have a ways to go with this contract.
Can I buy the phone aftermarket and have Sprint switch my current Sero plan over to the new phone? |

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
Wow, 2.8" in VGA, that's going to be one fine pitch LCD!
They look nice. Just from looks, it appears as though it will be narrower but slightly longer than the Mogul. |

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
You can buy any sprint phone with a clean ESN and swap ESN. It's like swapping a SIM card in a GSM phone except you have to call customer service or do it online on sprint's website.

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
it actually looks more like the T-MOBILE Shadow but with a full qwerty keyboard. From the pics it also looks like the screen might be flush. Would be nice if it was glass instead of this plastic.

Re: Titan/Mogul/6800 Succesor Revealed
If it were glass, it would be a capacitative touchscreen like the iPhone. If you look for broken iPhones on eBay, the most common problem is cracked touchscreen glass. The touchscreen assemblies run about $180+ so not really worth replacing.
I don't think glass is a very good idea, although it does make the screen feel nice. |
