Mogul Won't Charge while using internet

I believe that it's due to the fact that my battery would eventually overheat because I was putting such a large load on the battery at the same time as it was charging. I think I found a solution though, I spent yesterday removing anything I didn't need from my today screen and I also turned off all the LED's except the reminder one. Last night my phone stayed tethered and even had a full charge this morning. I will test it again tonight, last night I tethered using USB tonight I might try using WI-FI to see if the WI-FI card being on puts to large of a load on the battery.

I also downloaded a little freeware program that tells me the stats on my battery and the temp and graphs the results. I haven't tried the application out yet but if it works correctly I will be able to see the results of my tests.
