Camera not saving

Hey guys, about 4 weeks ago my pictures and camera was working great. Out of nowhere it starting to act weird. When i take a picture it will show me the pic, u see the hour glass then you see the picture count go down, but when u goto check out the pics they are not there. How do i go about and reinstall the camera
