today start menu issue - removed programs

I notice that when I remove a program - it's icon still shows in the lower half of the start menu (most recently used programs sections). Of course when I select that icon nothing happens as the program has been removed but apparently not the icon.

See my screen image - the two programs I have removed are Cool Camera and RealONe Player - they have been removed from the device

Is there a way to edit/delete icons in that lower section of the start menu?
