AD-Hoc Wep WMWifiRouter .91

i cant find the solution here or on XDA...i want to set up a wep with my existing ad-hoc that wmwifirouter created. I entered "wifi" under "Connections." -->Select WMWifiRouter connection --> select next...now here's my problem i am in Configure Network Authentication -->Authentication: Open -->Data Encryption WEP --> Network Key. I've tried inputing 4 to 13 letters, numbers and mix of letters and numbers, and i get the same error every time "THE NETWORK KEY YOU ENTERED IS NOT CORRECT." how do i set this up and what am i doing wrong??....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but in this instance you need to enter the entire HEX key address. I fyou go into the network settings before starting your connection, it should show you the HEX address for whatever your passphrase is.

open up the wmwifi program
before connecting choose the options button, configuration, network set up, change the security to wep and type in a password your hex number should be filled in already. save it and your done

if you are getting this message from your pc while trying to connect to the wmwifi router as a wirelsss connection it sounds like you may have already made a wep key on your phone and you are not entering the right key
i would try removing the software and reinstalling it on your phone and deleting the network connection from your pc start fresh with it.

I think you have to have 26 characters of either 0-9 or a-f.
