Slide out keyboard compatibility issue?
Some applications that I have installed do not work so well with the slideout keyboard, no matter which button I press. It types in symbols and numbers, but never the text..
Any idea how to correct this? Thanks.

make double sure that you pop up the onscreen keyboard and make sure that the shift and ctrl buttons arent clicked and also caps...
then check the hardware keyboard and make sure of the same thing on there... this used to happen to me all the time.. cause if you hit the function button on the keyboard it stays,, even if you close the application you were using,, and even if you close the keyboard and let the phone set for hours... hope this is your problem
