I'll second that! I just sent my original order info to Seidio. I hope they really do send a replacement, as I really did like the case. I'll update when / if I get the new case...

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

seidio is fantastic cs. I absolutely without contest recommend the company as they stand not only behind their products, but also stand behind their business and their business is taking care of their customers. It is is very apparent in my dealings with them.

I ordered a gps gradle a few years ago, had a short. they sent the newer streamlined model and all new accessories, arm mount, charger etc. free shipping everything. it was outside of warranty as well. very much exceeded my expectation.

Now i have 6800 rubber shell case, I think its the single best accesory ever for any of my phones.

PS. BTW seidio, i just bought a new 08 nissan altima hybrid and would love a mount for my 6800. I havent even taken delivery yet. ***Shameless beg***

great group

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I purchased my case holster set toward end of Feb. And already the rubber is rubbing off the to corners on backside of case near the Seideo Logo and also on the top where the clip holds the phone in near the camera. I can literally see the black crystal case underneath the rubber. Has anyone else noticed this? I hate that the rubber is rubbing off so soon after only 2 months.

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I've had my Seidio case for a few months now and I love it. I wish that it didn't click but I can live with it since it seems to be common. It hasn't started to wear out on me yet. I do use the HTC leather case instead of the Seidio holster. I had to stretch the leather out a little but it works good enough. I've gotten many compliments on the case and it's the best aesthetic change I've done.

You will not notice any wear unless you are using the holster. My case is only wearing out where the holster touches it. Sucks

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

it had to stretch the leather so there must be a bit of friction in and out when you put it in the holster.

mine's ordered and i can't wait till it comes in.

i really really really really hope i don't get a poop one =/

Nexxman,

Please email your contact and original order information to forum@seidio.com. I'll get you an RMA so we can get you a replacement. I'd like our engineers to take a look at your case.

Thanks,

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I love the slim rubberized hard case and holster. It did rub a little when I opened the slider. It was an easy fix, just used a nail clipper file and gently knocked down the two little "hooks" holding the top case on. Now it slides with no friction at all. Can't really fault Seidio in that those clips are so small I don't think they could make a mold any smaller.
