Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

its the catches on the keyboard rubbing on the track.I dont think its harmful. But its gotta grip to something otherwise it falls off. Im ok with it . More and more it goes away but then that could be the plastic catch being knawed away. Ya think?

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I also purchased the covering from Seidio, I loved the Rubberized grip and the new belt clip are by FAR better than the default equipment provided with the phone (I hated that little leather case!)

After about 3 months, one of the catches broke...nothing too bad about it, it still had enough to keep it together. About a week after that, another one broke on the same side (the front) and I had to scrap half the case. I still use the back half cause the case rocks for the grip and overall durability.

The thing is, I am not even close to rough with my phone. I work in the med field and have a very low impact job. I have never dropped it or done anything half risky with the exterior of the phone.

Just a warning and a praise. Good case, needs stronger cathches

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I bought one of these in early November of 2007 and it lasted until early February 2008. It was nice while it lasted, but quite pricey for 3 months of protection. One of the small tabs that keeps the case snapped on to the sliding screen section broke off, thus keeping the case from staying affixed to the phone. Maybe I just got a weak one. Anyone else have a similar experience, or hopefully a much better one?

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I noticed one of the clips had half-broken off about 2 weeks ago, so I super-glued it back together. It seems to be okay after that.

I also had the metal pin holding the top clip of the holster fall off once. I re-inserted it, and it hasn't fallen off again.

Overall, I like the case and holster. However, I'm worried about the durability of the set. I got an e-mail from the Seidio guy on the forum saying they are going to resolve the issue of the pin for me, but I haven't heard back from him since that e-mail.

It softens up just a little after awhile. But by far the BEST investment I have had for this phone(6800). I'm a truck driver and this case has saved my phone from damage countless times. I thought I might even have to buy a new case, but this thing takes a good lickin' and still looks good. Believe me well worth the money.

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

With every bad story you will find 10 good ones. To me the Seidio case was the best purchase for my 6800 so far. It doesn't make the 6800 a tank by any means but is does its job.

Re: Seidio rubberized case and holster

I sincerely apologize to anyone having problems with their case or holster. If you'll email your contact and original order information to forum@seidio.com I'll make sure you recieve replacements.

Thanks,
