US Cellular and GPS

OK, brand new user/poster here. Just bought two Moguls from USCell who released them last Friday. US Cell has by far the best coverage in my area so I had to wait this long to get a decent phone.

I am looking at the GPS workaround (called that 'cuz "there is no official ROM update" as far as USCell is concerned).

Will the GPS enable/ROM update work on USCell, or will something need to be modified first? I am eager to try but want some informed opinions first.

Anyone know or better yet tried it?
