Mogul RAM speeds

Hey guys (and gals I suppose), was wondering if anyone notices slowness with their phones. I keep reading that the lack of RAM in the 6800 causes slow running programs. Was wondering what this effects, internet, office, media player? Also anyway to add RAM to the phone?

Re: Mogul RAM speeds

There are a ton of threads regarding every item in your post. Please search before starting a new thread.

The long and the short... The lack of RAM does have an impact on how many things you can have open at once. If you don't have multiple apps open at the same time you probably won't have a ton of issues.

The idea of adding RAM is being investigated and to date is not possible.

Again, these are the short answers. Search and you'll find the details.

Re: Mogul RAM speeds

As an IT professional for the Government ::COUGH COUGH::

I'd also like to add, that RAM is RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. IE having multiple programs open at one time, without a hitch

I wish there was a way to use the storage card for program memory.

Wow, that'd be sweet... pop in a 4gb card and have plenty of room to do whatever you wanted.. even the stock 512 would give you all the program memory you'd ever need.

Too bad it's a totally different type of memory, incompatible in every way... lol
